Home of the blues (Chuck Berry, Tina Turner and Miles Davis all cut their teeth here), St Louis is famous for its Gateway Arch (the Great Plains' very own Eiffel Tower), its music and its diverse eateries. Though its past fortunes have been mixed, St Louis neighbourhoods are now flourishing.
